Friends abound. The snow has melted almost entirely. Dave arrives from Seattle. Sushi night out on the town, babies to visit, phone calls to make. Fifty pages into the next book, Sandra Cisneros’ Woman Hollering Creek, and loving it. Poetry meets narrative arc and disguises itself as prose.
