I visited the legendary Powell’s bookstore today – the largest independent bookstore in the country and my old stomping grounds. In the workshop I did at UofO, the leader said something that really resonated with me. “The writers who I see make it are the ones with discipline and determination. There are plenty of writers who are good but don’t get published. But if you have the discipline for the writing life, that will take you far.” I agree! So I checked out the S-section at Powell’s for a glimpse at the section where my book, that hopefully, actually, be born someday, will be filed. Click here.
