Effort

Here is what I think:

I think when I make lists of what there is to do each day, I focus too much on what did not get done. The last two days I have tried to focus on what I did get done, and I’ve tried to instill in myself the confidence that there is time to do those things not yet crossed off.

This, in some small way, helps me learn to relax a little more.

The other thing that helps is focusing on time. Rather then constantly tell myself that there is not enough time or that I need more time, I am instead trying to tell myself that there is plenty of time. This may or may not be true, but it doesn’t matter. I still get the job done.

That’s the idea, anyway.

One step at a time.
