In the past 72 hours I have walked 7 miles, stretched for an hour, done 90 minutes of martial arts training, written 1 press release, written 1 article for exhibition content, emailed 7 queries to publications in Sun Valley, Idaho, finished Castle Freeman Jr.’s novel Go With Me, started Caught Up in Time oral history narratives of Vietnam vets, taught a seminar for Interlochen’s College of Creative Arts, read 7 student poems or stories, and caught up with 3 close friends over the phone.
My brain and body are mush. A more cohesive post is in the works…but it’s not going to happen tonight.

    Holy Moly! Now I know why you NEED one of those writing retreats in the wilderness to come through. You have a lot more energy than most people to keep up a schedule like that.
