2 residency applications and 10 post-graduate fellowship or part-time professorship applications are in the mail…all geared toward Fall 2011 to help end the 2-year tour and let me “settle” for at least one academic year…
5 contests have been entered…
2 personal rejection letters received in the last two weeks…
1 publisher completely ignored a query…
1 publisher rejected the book, 5 are still possibilities…
14 stories or essays have been submitted to publications…
1 arts essay due very, very soon (and 1 writer in denial)…
1 arts essay published this month (and 1 writer waiting for her paycheck)…
5 short stories are still forthcoming between now and April…
and 1 editing contract awaiting approval (and it would fund my dream trip on the Trans-Siberian Railroad…I’m not kidding).
