The Return Trip

Day 6 starts and ends with driving, but we take I-81 South this time and drive 675 miles in 11 hours, stopping once for dinner and finally at a hotel for the night.

Day 7 flies buy, 325 more miles to go and we’re home, home, home!

My car makes it up the Volvo, 2,000 miles and ten states wiser, and oh sigh – I let my muscles stretch and unfold. Glad to be home!
