Newsy News Flash: Three of my war short-shorts were accepted for publication by Future Cycle Flash, a new online flash fiction magazine! They selected my stories for the debut of their magazine and they’ll go live online in a few weeks. Next year, these three stories will be printed in the annual Future Cycle Flash paperback anthology.

If you don’t know about Future Cycle, they’re known for publishing poetry. Future Cycle Flash is a new branch of this publishing company dedicated solely to short fiction. They bring the poet’s sense for concision and imagery into the fiction world, seeking to publish the best in contemporary short fiction.

NC readers: If you’re in the tri-city area, consider coming to either of this weekend’s awards ceremonies and readings. On Saturday, you’ll get to drink wine and meet authors. On Sunday, you’ll hear a reading and see a brief awards ceremony. I’m proud to say I will be honored at both events for my short stories!
