Jentel Day 8: Good News!
Three of my war short-shorts were published by Future Cycle Flash today. These stories are available online right now and will be published in a paperback anthology next year. I’m very excited to see this work debut with FCF, as they are a great press and venturing into the world of flash fiction—doing great things for writers all around. I’m also excited because these stories are the first of my current collection, Personae of War, to be available. Read them HERE. The stories are: “That Sunday Morning Feeling,” “Pressin’ the Flesh,” and “Checkpoint.”
In other news, I learned this week that three more of my war short-shorts were accepted for publication by War, Literature, & the Arts. Earning approval and publication from these guys is especially meaningful to me because their staff members are knowledgeable, to say the least, of the military and combat. They’re also all working artists. Knowing I have work forthcoming in WLA makes my week…if not my entire holiday season!
