Clear Skies!
It’s so simple: the way snowflakes confetti into the water, one moment frozen and flying, the next moment swallowed by the blue-green lake. I could watch this magic trick for hours, each flake a fleeting thought, born and then dissipated, everything and nothing all at once. And fittingly impossible to capture clearly on camera:
But as the winter storm dumped throughout the night, I woke to crystal clear skies and drove 2 miles into town for my first uninhibited view of the Wallowas since arriving. Downtown Joseph, Oregon: Will you marry me? Yes, please.

What a great set of contrasting pictures! Joseph is a beautiful town. I wouldn't mind if you hitched up there. At least it would mean you are closer.
